I graduated from Computer Learning Network, located in Mechanicsburg, PA, in July of 2002, but I started my career in April under the tuteledge of the Chambersburg Massage Therapy Clinic. I worked with them for almost two years before heading out on my own in 2004. I worked in Chambersburg, at Hawley's Massage and Bodyworks, for a few years, until I was able to afford a home from which I could "hang a shingle" in 2008. 

Working from home was quite convenient and rewarding. My business was consistent for many years. But, I always dreamed of having my own spa, where I could employ other licensed massage therapists, and take a back seat to doing so many "hands on" hours. This dream became a reality in August of 2019. I sold my home and all of my posessions to buy a 25-year-long massage therapy business in Florida. I moved to Fernandina Beach, FL and pursued my dream, until the pandemic brought it all to a screeching halt. A year later, and there still wasn't enough business to keep the doors open. 

Fortunately, the following I created in Pennsylvania missed me. I created a campaign to get home and the response was overwhelming. I came back to Chambersburg and started back up where I left off. No longer working from home, I now have an office within Pierson Family Chiropractic, where I am able to serve the handicapped in our community without any limitations. 

I live nearby in a small apartment where I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and walking my dog. I still dream of something bigger. A place where my colleagues and I can work together to help heal the community in which we live. Until that day, I will continue to serve in any way that I can.
